ROLE PURPOSE: Under the direction of the Partnership Manager, the Partnership Asistant will have a key role to ensure that Save the Children Afghanistan makes our aspiration to support SC partners.

Major activities may include documentation, filing system both hard and soft copies, providing logistical support for arranging meetings, trainings and update all the partnership related data and trackers in online and shared data system, conducting field visits and any other tasks as assigned by Partnership Manager.

 

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY :

 

  • Establish strong coordination with SCI-Afghanistan Implementing Partners (IPs), Stakeholders, SCI Finance Department BHs and provincial management teams.
  • Support Partnership team in preparation of audit documents from partner organization on timely bases.
  • Suport partnership team in partner capacity assessments of new potential Local and National NGOs under various thematic such as Health, Nutrition, child Protection, food Security & livelihood, and education in line with Partnership policy
  • Dissemination of Sub Award agreements, amendments, recording agreements in AMS system and sharing the same with Partners for mutual understanding.
  • Maintain and update partners information sheet and filling (hard/soft) copies
  • Develop and maintain partners reporting schedule
  • Regular follow-up with partners on submission of their reports and identifying challenges, lessons learned and proposed solutions.
  • Ensure that all data trackers are up to date and make sure the data in shared drive are up to date.
  • Ensure that recording of partners agreements, amendments, reports and vetting are taking places in proper way and all support documents are available both soft and hard copies.
  • Active participation in the partners assessment process with support from Partnership Senior Officer.
  • Coordinate all the assessment process with (HR, Finance, Logistic, Administration, Security and Program staff)
  • Conduct field visits and collect first hand data from partners about project progress and challenges on regular basis.
  • Updating of Award Management System (AMS) on monthly bases.
  • Any official duty which are assigned by partnership department

Job Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS 

Essential

  • Bachelor degree
  • Having over 2 years of working experience in partnership and stakeholder management with  INGOs or NNGOs
  • Knowledge of MS Office, particularly Word, Excel and Power Point while previous experience with database is a privilege
  • Strong organizational skill
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work out of official working hours and on the weekend
