Supply and Delivery of Firewood and Classroom Heaters

Under the Global Partnership for Education – System Transformation Grant (GPE-STG) project, a consortium led by the Aga Khan Foundation (AKF) and funded by GPE supports access to inclusive, high-quality basic education in Badghis Province. Project interventions focus directly on Qala-e-Naw Center and Qadis District, supporting 924 Catch-Up Classes, 52 Early Childhood Development (ECD) classes, and 3 Community-Based Schools (CBSs) comprised of multiple Community-Based Education (CBE) classes.

To ensure a safe, warm, and supportive learning environment for pupils and teachers during harsh winter conditions, WADAN is issuing this solicitation to procure high-grade dry heating firewood and durable wood-burning heaters (Bukhari), complete with safe chimney exhaust pipes and floor-protective metal plates, delivered and installed directly across 63 designated classroom locations (52 ECD classes and 11 CBS classes) in Qala-e-Naw and Qadis.
